Pat Walkington
Pat Walkington is recognized as a top player in the educational market by major school districts, state department technology leaders, educational technology companies, and publishers.  She is a people and profit oriented leader with executive management expertise in diverse functional areas including business development, sales and marketing, and new product development.
 
Pat has 20 years experience creating, leading and growing the educational divisions of technology companies including Commodore Business Machines, The Learning Company and Broderbund Software.  She played a major role in establishing the Learning Company as a leader in developing high-quality software products for schools, and worked with the senior management team to take the company public.  Pat also co-founded Making It Happen a national non-profit organization created to recognize outstanding educators in technology, and she has served on various industry and company boards.

As an Educational Consultant, Pat brings diverse experience to the education industry by working with both large and small companies in many roles and capacities to provide strategic direction in business planning, new business development, marketing, direct and channel sales, operations, strategic partnerships and product development.
